So, onwards.

Anyway. I was reading random fic the other day, and discovered this amazing author. I mean, I don't even ship the pairing I was reading from her. But it was SO GOOD. SOOOO GOOOOOOD. Like, amazing, angsty (but not emo and melodramatic), emotional, to the point, no unnecessary sentences, descriptions that were interesting instead of tedious, and merged angst with fluff perfectly. The tension was amazing. The best was that people told off the angsters for being angsty twats.

So...once finals are over, in like, two or three days (depends on how fast I finish my take-home final), I plan to actually do some serious writing. The origi-fic that won't leave me alone right now is a new idea I've had for a while, and it's going to hopefully be my ultimate shounen-ai romance of doom. (Or one of them, out of the three I have.)

The title is going to be "The Lines Between Us". The main characters are named Elthis and Dridian. Dridian's parents are dead, and he's living with his relatives, who really don't impose as many restrictions on him cause he's not really their kid. Elthis lives with his very strict, very traditional parents in the house next door to Dridian's relatives'. They play together as kids, until one day (at the age of 7) Dridian says (without really knowing better) that he's going to marry Elthis when they grow up. Elthis freaks out, because his family says good boys marry nice girls and have lots of babies. He says he's never going to talk to Dridian again. He runs home, realizes he's being immature, and decides to apologize the next day, except he tells his parents what happened and THEY forbid him from playing with Dridian anymore.

They grow up, and end up in the same preparatory school, and then they both attend Academy together. Dridian decides he hates unrequited love crap, but he's not really interested in anybody (except Elthis, though he won't admit that) and ends up casually dating, mostly girls at first, but the boys get more and more common. Elthis keeps insisting Dridian is weird and not normal and stuff, until finally he starts to admit he's actually in love with Dridian. They end up embarking on a long story, in which they come together and break apart several times. They have unhealthy relationships, they hide their honest feelings from each other, they purposely try to hurt each other, they are jealous and spiteful and suspicious, they end up hurting themselves.

Anyway, that's the idea. I just wanted to write something with a really unhealthy, painful relationship in it~

Trowa. Even before I saw the show. He was AWESOME.

Duanmu Rong. She was kind of a giant beyotch when she showed up. She's grown a lot on me.

Gao Yue (Yue-er). She's kind of...I dunno, too sweet? I don't hate her, I just don't understand people's adoration of her.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Chilian. Well, I don't love her, but I think her character was built really well.

Um. Well, a safe answer would be White Phoenix. He'd probably kick me off a cliff.

Honestly...Duanmu Rong. She's very mature and protective and motherly.

Gao Jianli. Don't get me wrong, I love the silly, confused boy, but I want him to get over his irrationally huge hatred of Ge Nie. I mean, the hatred isn't irrational, but the magnitude kind of is.

Ge Nie/Duanmu Rong. Are probably one of the favorite pairings in the fandom.

Ge Nie/Wei Zhuang. Er. If you know anything about them, it's that they're not secretly flirting with each other.

So, yeah. Quick background. Cirrus is actually the main character, very sarcastic and aloof. Cayla is the main love interest, and she's very smart and friendly and can keep the boys in check, though she's just as sarcastic as Cirrus. Lorin is a friend of Cirrus's, and he tends to be easygoing and commoner-ish and a happy scoundrel. Brianna is the daughter of the main villain, and she likes swords and cheerfully crushes on Lorin. The two of them are probably the smartest of all the couples I've ever written, and have absolutely no issues getting together. Ambrose is the last of the main people, and he's a sweet guy with a lot of power and influence, and money, so the rest of the gang hangs at his estates a lot.

So...apparently my characters from my shorts like to make more of a character for themselves than I require. Ghost-san and Amnesia-kun from my Halloween story have concluded they want to have a turn at the OC Quiz too... >.> (And, yes, they made themselves into boys, both of them.)

So...Ghost-san is a very goofy, adorable person with serious possessiveness issues and lots and lots of regrets.

Amnesia-kun is pensive, uber-smart, and cute (though he probably doesn't like being called that) and a little over-serious. I still haven't figured out what horrible thing he did to get Ghost-san so pissed. But then, they were both being stupid and dumb.
